NEW TO CLUB TEAMS? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Joining a club or travel team gives athletes extra exposure, more reps, and valuable experience. Players typically pay to play games at home and on the road, while parents cover travel, hotels, and gear costs.

WHY XCITE ATHLETICS?

Since 2010 Xcite AthleticS has welcomed athletes of all skill levels, from those just starting their journey to elite players preparing for the next level. Our program is structured to challenge and develop athletes based on their current ability and long-term potential. We’re not just building athletes—we’re developing future talent through our W.P.P.R. philosophy: Work hard, Practice hard, Play hard, and Respect the game. Parents are NOT ALLOWED in practice.

When you join an Xcite AthleticS program, you’re committing to real development and results. We focus on fundamentals, mechanics, and proper technique to help athletes maximize their potential. Our experienced coaches ensure players don’t just run the floor but train with purpose to eliminate bad habits.

XCITE ATHLETICS TRAVEL CLUB TEAM

For a cost-effective way to play more and improve, each player is assigned a team that:
✅ Travels for 4-5 tournaments (April-July)
✅ Practices 1-2 times per week (Mon-Fri) the odd weekend.
✅ Covers offense, defense, and game strategy
✅ Includes free camps for skill development

Fees Include: Tournament entry, gym rentals, full uniform set, warm-up tops, backpack, and admin costs. Travel & hotels are additional, but we assist with group bookings, travel coordination, and chaperones for parents who can’t always attend. Parents and athletes are required to obtain their own individual B.S.I insurance, by creating an account with the RAMP online service.This is a one time yearly fee, which runs from September 30th to October 1st of each year and covers all event associated with Xcite AthleticS.

Please read the description for each level carefully. Age categories are based on the players age as of June 2025. A combine date will be announced in March where all athletes will attend, to be assessed and placed on the appropriate team levels. After your payment has been processed, please make sure to check your email for a confirmation and registration form. If you are an existing member this information still needs to be filled out.


Player Levels & Registration

Beginner (Beginners Level)

For players who have played a little bit of RCBA or community basketball but are still learning the game. These athletes may not be fully coordinated yet but are eager, coachable, and excited to improve. They need structured training to develop their fundamentals, coordination, and understanding of the game. Perfect for those who love basketball and want to take their skills to the next level.

Development (Intermediate Level)

For athletes who understand the game and have solid skills but haven’t quite broken through to the next level. Many in this group have been cut from their high school teams or play recreationally at a competitive level. They have a strong grasp of basic offensive and defensive principles and are looking to refine their abilities, improve decision-making, and gain the edge needed to compete at a higher level.

Advance (Experience Competitive Level)

For players who have made their high school team and/or played on local club or outside teams but not necessarily high-end travel teams. These athletes are confident in their abilities, skilled in team play, and able to compete at a high level. They understand basketball systems, team concepts, and game strategies but need further refinement to reach the elite level.

XRA Ballers Elite (National/Travel Level)

This is the highest youth competition level, reserved for players who have competed in high-end travel teams, AAU, and elite-level tournaments. These athletes are fundamentally sound, highly skilled, and have a deep understanding of team systems and strategies. They train at an intense, high-performance level, preparing for collegiate opportunities, national-level competition, and potential pro development.

Semi-Pro / Pro Level (Elite Performance Training)

For serious athletes aiming for collegiate, semi-pro, or professional basketball. This level is designed for those who have already played at a high collegiate level (U SPORTS, NCAA, JUCO, CCAA) or have pro aspirations. Training focuses on high-performance skill development, strength & conditioning, game strategy, and mental preparation to help athletes excel in professional environments. Players in this category have opportunities to train with pro-level coaches, compete in exposure events, and receive career guidance.

Select the level that best fits your experience and skill set when registering. Our coaches will assess and ensure each player is placed where they will develop and succeed. Xcite AthleticS reserves the right to move any athlete to a different level for various reasons, including ensuring their safety and proper development
